6/10/10; Core metldown

8 rounds:
200m
8 Renegade Rows (40#)

Total time- 14:23

Warm up- standard.

WOD- I gamed to pace a sub 2:00 for every round. I think that I'm going to shelf gaming for the next two weeks and just go nuts. Kudos to Doug for smashing my time by over a minute. That's :08 faster per round by my calculations. Awesome work.

Tomorrow- suck in the morning, push for a new C&J PR in the afternoon.

3-2-1...GO!

  1. OMG!! How fun was this. I watched LT and Mike do this and new it would suck. Oh... it was also about 1330 when we did it. Nice, hot and humid here in AUstin today. While watching them and preparing for the such, I thought that if I could get all the Renegade Rows unbroken then I might get close to Mike's time. He is a much better/faster runner. Well when I finished the first round I knew this would suck. As I headed out for the 5th round, Mike said that I was on pace to beat his time. Knowing he has lied to me about my time (all out of motivation though) I really paid it no attention. By Round 6, I had a platoon of penguins chasing me and I thought that I was gonna hurl. When I finished I had managed to do all the Renegade Roes unbroken... took some deep breaths though. When Mike told me I beat him by 1:04 I thought, "Holy Crap!" Heck of a WOD (13:19).

In the spirit of competition I must mention that this is the second time this week that I have come in ahead of Mike. Yes... you have created a monster. Thanks for introducing me to Crossfit!

  3. My Total time was 14:28 with a mod from 40lb to 20lb weights! this was a great WOD, The runs for me durring the WOD were more of my break and i think that is about a 180 from everyone else that crossfits with us durring the week. The rows were the part that gave me some issues, in the end i ended up breaking almost all of them.
